We are still taking part in the ever so often needed foundational research in plate-like snow crystals. This work is so important because the dendrites are very unusual in Germany.
We're equipped with the newest flash freezing facility to create artificial dendrites at different temperatures.
These artificial dendrites differ from the naturally grown ones immensly and with our cooperations with international climate research laboratories we can develop theories to fight the growing climate warming for the "snow of tomorrow".
